On Friday, March 21, former Central Plains High School - Claflin standout Emily Ryan’s current collegiate team the Iowa State Cyclones lost 80-74 against the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Purcell Pavilion, this was the first game against the Michigan Wolverines during the championship.

Emily Ryan’s hometown is Claflin and game position is guard.
