On Wednesday, March 19, former Central Plains High School - Claflin standout Emily Ryan’s current collegiate team the Iowa State Cyclones won 68-63 against the Princeton Tigers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Purcell Pavilion, this was the first game against the Princeton Tigers during the championship.

The Iowa State Cyclones’ next game will take place on Friday, March 21 at 11:30 a.m. in Purcell Pavilion against Michigan Wolverines.

Emily Ryan’s hometown is Claflin and game position is guard.
