Tyson Ruud, a former Ellinwood High School standout now playing for the Washburn Ichabods, is preparing to compete in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
Washburn enters as the No. 1 seed and will face the No. 8 seeded Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs to start the tournament.
The opening matchup is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Lee Arena.
