Great Bend High School standout Chayse Gruber’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Wednesday, March 19

On Wednesday, March 19, former Great Bend High School standout Chayse Gruber’s current college team, the Richmond Spiders, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The game took place at Davenport Field at Disharoon Park. This was their first matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

The Spiders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at John W. Smithson Field against Saint Joseph's Hawks.
