Pawnee County had unemployment rate of 1.3% in 2021

Pawnee County recorded an unemployment rate of 1.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 36 people out of the 6,356 living in Pawnee County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Pawnee County has decreased compared to the 1.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Pawnee County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 2,821 people who had a job during that time, 20 were employed in the Armed Forces and 2,801 belonged to the civilian labor force.
