For the summer of 2023, Sterling College is offering all general education courses for the low price of $145 per credit hour. The list of classes has been released with classes beginning May 9 and June 27. Visit online.sterling.edu/summer-discount-class-offerings for information.
“We continue our online summer general education offerings with a commitment to making Christian education affordable. Students are eager to make progress during the summer months and we are happy to make the opportunity available,” said Dr. Erin Laudermilk, associate vice president for academic affairs.
The first summer session runs from May 9 - June 26. Classes offered are Environmental Science with lab, Principles of Sociology, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Public Speaking, Web Design, World Geography, World Civilization I, College Composition, Contemporary Math, Leadership, Introduction to the Old Testament and Introduction to the New Testament. The add/drop deadline is May 12 and withdrawal deadline is June 7 at 5 p.m. CT.
The second session runs from June 27 - August 14. Classes offered in this session are Introduction to Film Studies, World Civilization II, Civil War Era, Concepts of Physical Fitness and Health, College Composition II, Introduction to Literature, Music Appreciation, American Government, Basic Christian Doctrine and Business and Society. The add/drop deadline is June 30 and withdrawal deadline is July 26 at 5 p.m. CT.
Those interested in qualifying for the $145 tuition cost should enroll before April 28, and those already enrolled at Sterling College should consult their adviser. Those not enrolled at Sterling College can find additional information and instructions for the application at online.sterling.edu/summer-discount-class-offerings.
