Sterling College welcomes the community to kick off the Christmas Advent season at its Share the Light Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, December 4. The event will begin at 7 p.m. on the east side of Cooper Hall. Sterling College students, faculty and staff, as well as the public are invited to this free event on East Cooper Lawn.
“We are so excited for the Sterling community to enjoy the evening of entertainment and refreshments that we have planned for them. We want to remind everyone to bring your phone or camera to take photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus and our special celebrity guest,” said Jason Briar ’99, vice president for student life.
There will be musical performances by the Highland Singers, the Jazz Combo and the Brownlee/Comley Family Singers. There will be a local celebrity guest to light the Christmas tree and the night will conclude with singing “Silent Night.”
