WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) -- KSN-TV is going on their annual summer road trip, where they will be visiting communities across Kansas highlighting the great things going on across the Sunflower State.
July 17-21, 2022, KSN team members will make stops in more than twenty towns throughout Kansas, traveling more than 1,000 miles to greet Kansans in each community and share stories along the way.
KSN Storm Track 3 Chief meteorologist Lisa Teachman will be in the Kansasland Tire and Service KSN Storm Tracker 3, a mobile weather center that allows the Storm Track 3 team track severe weather across Kansas. Lisa enjoys sharing her passion of meteorology and the Storm Tracker 3 with her fellow Kansans.
KSN News 3 Anchors Jeff Herndon and Emily Younger are excited once again to travel throughout their home state getting to know those in the communities we serve and the opportunity to tell their stories and highlight unique things at each of our stops.
Kansas Today anchors, Julia Thatcher and Eddie Randle are looking forward to joining Lisa, Jeff and Emily this year, share an early morning cup of coffee with viewers at the local coffee shop and exploring the state that they now call home.
Avery Osen and Jillian Carroll, hosts of Good Day Kansas, KSN’s lifestyle and entertainment show, will continue to bring Kansas home to you by introducing viewers to local businesses, share community events and other hidden treasures.
Kansans are encouraged to follow along on the journey by going to KSN.com to see stories from our road trip. They can also follow our journey on the KSN Facebook & Twitter (@KSNNews) pages, and by following #KSNSummerRoadTrip. KSN will be broadcasting live throughout the trip during newscasts.
The schedule for the road trip follows. Please keep in mind that the packed itinerary of the road trip will lead to brief stops in each of the communities. If you would like to come out to say hello and tell us what is great about your hometown, don’t be late, so we can get back on the road!
