Census Bureau: 76.9% of people in Rice County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 9,464 citizens living in Rice County in 2021, 76.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 7,276 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 3,706 were male, constituting 50.9%, and 3,570 were female, making up 49.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Rice County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 75.6%.
